Welcome

Welcome to our first issue of Vic Connect, Victoria University’s e-newsletter for Year 12 and 13 students. We look forward to connecting with you this year, keeping you in the loop with what is happening at Victoria, and helping Year 13 students to make the transition to university as smooth as possible.

What can you expect to find in Vic Connect? Each issue we will be speaking to Dain Clarkin, a real live first-year student, about the ups and downs of the first-year experience. For those of you who are out-of-towners, we will also be profiling a different Hall of Residence each issue.

In the Year 12 and Year 13 Links sections on the right you will find the latest information about preparing for Victoria, as well as other University news and events.

The Quicklinks section helps you navigate the Victoria website by taking you directly to important information about admission, planning your first year, accommodation, Study at Vic Day, scholarships and upcoming events in your region.

Last, but certainly not least, this newsletter is about you, so if you have any requests for stories, ideas or feedback we would love to hear from you. Email us on course-advice@vuw.ac.nz
